Who Can Apply?

Professionals in:

• ICT (Information & Communications Technology)
• Pharmaceuticals (research roles only)
• Shipping (excluding ship captains and crew)

Application Procedure:

• Submit in person at the Migration Department’s main office in Nicosia
• Processing time: up to 90 days
• At least €43.632 annual gross salary

Main Benefits

• Live and work in Cyprus
• Equal rights as Cypriot citizens in work, education, and social security
• Travel for business to most EU countries (except Denmark and Ireland) for up to 90 days in any 180-day period

Family Members

• Can apply for residence permits through family reunification
• Applications can be submitted together with the main Blue Card application
• Spouses can work freely in Cyprus, including self-employment
