  • Ireland: The Maternity Protection, Employment Equality and Preservation of Certain Records Act 2024, signed into Irish law on 28 October, permits the postponement of maternity leave due to serious health conditions.
  • Italy: On October 24, 2024, interministerial guidelines set the quotas for temporary and permanent non-EU employees allowed to enter Italy in 2025, following the decree by the President of the Council of Ministers for 2023-2025.
  • Spain: Royal Decree 1026/2024, effective from October 10, 2024, requires companies with over 50 employees to implement measures for LGTBI equality, including a protocol to address workplace harassment, as mandated by Law 4/2023.
