The Hellenic Data Protection Authority issued an Opinion regarding the provisions of the Greek Law 4624/2019 implementing certain provisions of the GDPR and the Directive No 2016/680. This Opinion addresses certain issues that have been raised with respect to the legality of certain provisions, taking into account that they contravene the GDPR and/or introduce additional derogations while trying to specify the national framework.
