This Flash News is about the guidance issued by several national data protection authorities in Europe addressing data protection issues related among others to employment in the context of containing the spread of COVID-19, widely known as ‘’Coronavirus’’. More particularly, the national data protection authorities across Europe examine the GDPR provisions and principles by balancing, on the one hand, the importance of personal data protection and on the other, the particularity of an unprecedented epidemic crisis.
