Abolishment of Annual Levy
The Registrar of Companies has officially announced on 21st of March 2024 that the annual levy is obsolete as from, and inclusive, the year 2024.
The annual levy provisions up to the year 2023 are still valid and as such any registered companies in Cyprus are still liable for any liabilities in this regard.
For those companies that have already paid the annual fee of 2024, the fees will be refunded under the following methods:
- For online payments made through JCC, the amount will be refunded directly to the card without any further action by the applicant.
- For payments made at the counter, the amount will be refunded to the bank account upon presentation of FIMAS at Registrar of Companies.
